What is the “Boardgames in Funchal” event?
It is an initiative to promote board games. With the help of my friends, I organized some events in Funchal and would like to expand them. I plan to promote more advanced and complicated games and organize some board game tournaments.
I own many games, mainly in English, as well as ones not dependent on language.
How do the events look like?
The games and printed instructions are available in English, and there are on-site brief training sessions.
For now, attendance is free, but it would be appreciated if attendees could purchase drinks at the venue.
Where is our venue?
Our main venue is Funchal Tap (Funchal Taproom Craft Beer & Food, Rua Direita 37, 9050-450 Funchal).

Cooperation with Madeira Friends
Our cooperation with Madeira Friends began in December 2024 during the No_Mad Alone 4 event at Pestana CT7, where Alan and I had the pleasure of joining a free, festive celebration for those wishing to spend Christmas with a community.
Building on that wonderful experience, in April 2025 we organized an engaging Board Game Night at the Madeira Friends Hub in Funchal. The evening brought together around 20 participants for over four hours of gameplay in an atmosphere perfectly suited for both beginners and seasoned players.
